There are two pockets, pockets A and B that has each 5 and 6 marbles in them. Bob took out certain amount of marbles from each pockets and poured both of them on a bucket. Finally, he took out the amount of marbles that pocket A had, and there were non of the marbles left. How many were took out of each of the pockets?
This was a good idea, but you should have said "amount of marble that pocket A had remaining", so that the reader knows that there were still some left in the pocket.
There are two pockets, pockets A and B that has each 5 and 4 marbles in them. Bob took out same amount of marbles from each pockets and poured both of them on a bucket. Finally, he took out the amount of marbles that pocket A had, and there were non of the marbles left. How many were took out of each of the pockets?

ReplyDeleteYou should say that Bob took out the same amount of marbles from each pocket,so it's clearer to the reader that its 5-y or 6-y.
ReplyDeleteGood Idea!
ReplyDeleteLike what Allison and Joonki said, you should include the fact that Bob took out the same amount of marbles or else the readers would be confused.
