Technically, a square's sides are all identical, so the width should be 3/5 as well, but this it won't matter that much. Everything else is great, using the fact the area is length multiplied by width was also great. This is clear and easy to understand, while being a little outlandish, because there is a cake with an area of 12 square meters.
Reflection: They didn't really explain unknown width which is "x", plus 2 multiply by 3/5 is 12m square cake. But the good thing was that they were smart to use cake and dough and said that they used baking soda to make width 2m wider. It made sense and easy to understand.
The story was unnecessarily long. However, the story is creative. "an unknown width" should be replaced to "the width is unknown" You should make the story shorter.
